What you can build

The project types, with an example of each, features for your niche, and what Launchpad doesn't do.

What you build on Launchpad opens in the browser, on desktop and on mobile, with nothing to install. This kind of app is called a web app.

Websites and pages

Use websites and pages to present your brand, capture leads, launch an offer or sell. For example, sales pages and launch pages, landing pages, capture pages, company sites and portfolios.

Example request:

Create a sales page for an online photography course aimed at beginners. The goal is to present the course and generate sales. Include benefits, modules, testimonials, guarantee, frequently asked questions and a buy button. Use a modern, minimal and premium look.

Members areas

Use a members area to deliver content to people who already bought, in your product's style. The structure comes from what you ask for, and you don't have to follow the module, lesson and track model. The members area lives inside the app, not in Hotmart Club.

For example, student portals, learning journeys, content hubs, support material and class progress dashboards.

Web apps

Use a web app when your user needs to interact with the project. For example, simple portals and systems, interactive platforms and tools for clients or students.

Some of these apps need to store information to look up or update later, such as sign-ups, records, history, tasks and status. In that case, the agent asks if it may create a database in the project, and only then creates it. You don't need to know about databases to use it. Learn more in Database.

Digital tools

Use digital tools to meet a need of your audience. For example, quiz, test, assessment, calculator, simulator, planner and generator.

A feature from your niche

Ask for the feature your business uses every day. Someone selling exam prep, for example, can ask for a question bank, mock exams, performance tracking and a study flow of their own.

A very specific request may not come out the way you pictured. In that case, break the request into smaller parts, as Talking to the agent shows.

What Launchpad doesn't do

  • Native apps. Launchpad doesn't publish apps on the App Store or Google Play, and your app opens in the browser.
  • Your course content. Launchpad builds the structure where your content lives, such as lesson, page, journey and feature. It doesn't record lessons, generate avatar videos or produce campaigns.
  • Every kind of request. What you can build depends on what Launchpad supports today.
