Preview Console

The Console panel shows the messages your project writes in the preview, with a filter by level and secret values hidden in them.

What changes

The Console panel now shows, line by line, the messages your project writes while it runs in the preview, like the warnings and errors your code logs. When one of those messages carries the value of an item in the Secrets panel, the Console shows [redacted] in its place. A value written another way, like encoded or joined to another word, stays visible.

In older projects, the Console may not show up in the New tab list yet.

How to use it

  • Open the panel. With the preview running, click New tab, the + on the panel bar, and choose Console.
  • Filter by level. Use the Error and Warn tabs to see only errors or only warnings.
  • See older lines. Click Load older lines to see what the project wrote before.

If something doesn't work in the preview, copy the error line and ask the agent to fix it in the chat. See Preview.

Improvements and fixes

Style of a new part of the screen in the preview

Fix

When the agent creates a part of the screen after the page that uses it, the preview now shows its style. Before, it stayed unstyled until the project restarted. In older projects, this can still happen. See Preview.

Preview recovery after a code error

Fix

When the project's code breaks and the agent fixes it, the preview now shows the project again without you reloading the page. See Preview.
